Well this place is all about your MIGHTY Town - KODAD, Nalgonda District, Andhra Pradesh, India
Kodad is a place that most people know it because it comes on the way to Hyderabad if you're travelling from Viajaywada. Yes, its on national highway#9. And it's a boarder town for Krishna District, Khammam Disctrict, and ofcourse Nalgonda district. That's why when you see people from kodad, you might be surprised by the way they speak - they dont actually speak as most of the telangana people do, rather they speak bit of mixed if not, like andhra people. I am from Kodad and most of my friends say the same. There must be something right.

Well, its one of the fastest growing towns in Andhra Pradesh. I think it all started when there was a real estate boom few yrs back. People in cities are selling land for a price 20 - 30 times the price of its original values and dont know what to do with them. Its not just the owners of the land, but people like Brokers, Estate Agents, Construction company workers, investors, people who're originally from kodad but living and working in hyderabad like cities, and finally people with relatives living in Kodad. This is just starting of a big boom
Then why kodad has become a popular choice for most of the people if not everyone? If you read thru this blog you would know why. I will give some facts about it.
1. It has plenty of rice mills. This was famous for these mills at some stage
2. Kodad is "supposedly" the near by biggest town in and around its radius, and is a point where the automobile industry is getting on peak. You know what people sell 2 - 3 tractors every day throughout the year. Can you imagine how people are getting money and going for this? our favourite subject - Loans. There's around 14 fairly big automobile shops in the town, mostly located on the NH-9 road
3. Its a place near by all the cement factories. There's quite a few cement factories on "Mellacheruvu" road. There's a new cement factory being built J.P. cements supposedly to produce the biggest output of all of A.P.
4. NH-9 is the most advatageous factor for kodad to be a place like what we know now. If its not on the way to Vijaywada - Hyderabad road, people would not know much about it and I can't imagine it to rock like what it is now
5.now guess what, a brand new bypass road is on the way. As you could imagine the land cost has now took an unbelievable hike. You're talking in multiples of crores
